What we are intending to create in the next few years:
• Continue with our unique program of transformational, experiential journeys for youth
• Continue developing rites of passage programs founded on inner wisdom and self-inquiry
• Interact more in our local community - creating more opportunities for our teens to contribute and express themselves through their gifts and light
• Substantially increase awareness of the Teen Journey Program and connect with similar groups globally
• Involve sponsors to actively participate in co-creating programs that support youth around the world
• Create a program to subsidize teens who might not otherwise be able to attend
• To bring back trust into our communities
• Have an exchange trip with an indigenous community
• Create a similar program called Parent Journey that brings connection, awareness, support and clarity to the journey we take as parents

In the interest of inspiring and empowering teens to be the remarkable, creative adults the next generation needs, we are seeking individuals and organizations who would like to share our vision. Join Our Journey is an innovative program that allows sponsors and benefactors to participate hands-on with the very people and programs they are sponsoring.
Within the next year, we plan to take a small group of TJ youth to locations around the world so that they can experience first hand the realities of life beyond their current sphere. Quite simply, it serves no one if young people stay caught in their own culture.
Locations under consideration are: a Tibetan colony in India, a village in Kenya, and the ancient cultures of Peru to name just a few. At Teen Journey, we feel that as the world undergoes radical changes, authentic and heartfelt connections to other cultures are needed even more than we need connection through technology.
